In Morocco’s Tata province, Foum Zguid is one of the best starting points for reaching the Sahara away from the busiest desert routes.
Tracks leave the village through the mineral landscapes of Jbel Bani and the former Lake Iriki before reaching the dunes of Erg Chigaga.
